Happy to be tucked up safe and sound in Lowestoft tonight after the day we've had! The unexpurgated story is on the blog but in brief we had a cracking if somewhat roly poly downwind sail from Orford to just off Lowestoft and the spent nearly an hour and a half being battered by a sudden thunderstorm which stranded me on the cabin top (it hit just as I'd pulled tyre main down and before I could get the sail tires on) in humungous waves whilst Rik steered us into them
