Asking this on behalf of my mobo boss who is taking his boat to Pin Mill this weekend: Where is the nearest petrol service to Pin Mill please?

IIRC the only place is Suffolk Yacht Harbour

Yeah, we checked Woolverstone too - Diesel only.

In 2002 I paid £1.10 a litre for petrol for my outboard at SYH. I would hate to think what it will have gone up to now. It was one of the reasons I decided to buy a boat with a diesel engine.

They no longer sell petrol at Levington,i could not find anywhere aorund the deben/Orwell that sold petrol.I always took the tanks to a petrol station,some petrol stations will only sell you a max of 5 galls in a container

They defo sell it at SYC. After Doug's tip, I called and checked.

Just need to radio in advance and they'll come to man it.

Just had the lowdown from my boss on his trip up the Orwell. He paid £1.67 a litre at SYC!

Went from Essex Marina to Pin Mill in his mobo and went around the windfarm because he got lost...
