Pet Passports...??

Does anyone know if the pet passport scheme applies to Eire?
We want to take our dog across to Ireland if it's possible. Thnx in advance

There are no tests or documentation required for pets resident and travelling in the British Isles (including UK, Republic of Ireland, Channel Islands and Isle of Man). The Republic of Ireland will accept that any pet entering from the UK already has a clear rabies status.
