find a local sign maker in yellow pages, they usually have offcuts and will cut to your template

I used Hants and Dorset Signs to make me a fitted perspex cover for the chart table and to fit around the Yeoman. They cut it for me to my template (one corner was curved and there was a cut out for the Yeoman box. I could have saved money cutting it myself from a piece bought from them but figured if it cracked when I cut it it would cost ME, if they cracked it it cost THEM.

Hi Steve.
don't mess around with people like B&Q or one of the little chandlers that will rip you off.
I used to be in the sign trade as a perspex worker. all you need to do is contact a local sign makers and and tell them what you are looking for.
Even better is to go down to the factory and try a back door to the workshops. most of the guys there will be able to help you out.
P.S take your wife....nice ice braker.
