I need to replace the side perspex windows on my mumm36.it seems that they are bedded on some sort of double sided glue neoprone/rubber infill and the edges outside are filled with some silicone sealer. Can anybody suggest exactly what type of material is this and from where I can source it, as I think if I had to use some sort of silicone sealent it will be too messy a work.

You can also buy adhesive/mastic strip which is an extruded mastic strip of differing thicknesses and widths. Used to build solar panels in the 1980's with it, using Perspex, and they are still watertight, even though in some cases "acrylic sheet from Germany" has crazed. Sold via double glazing companies who also use it for security installations with glass.
