I'm marketing these items at £175.37 each. Your own personal radar reflector mounted in the water catcher position and a desirable fashion accessory. Fog comes down, don your headgear and you're safe.. can also be used as a constrained by draught day signal.

Are you trying to imply that my draft is abnormal?

I presume that, like the Blipper, many years of development has gone into the internal design and testing of this essential piece of safety equipment, that it will also be available in "safety equipment orange" for those of us to need to improve our orange equipment count.

Regards, Jeff.

Could you not fit navigation lights as well?
Thus doing away with those unsightly ones on the boat that are always in those difficult to hoover places.
Just have to make sure you don't turn round when accepting a cup of tea or conny milk sarnie.

Turn it into a dinghy?

If you seal off the underside so that it floats, you could do away with the boat altogether, although the makers of the "Topper" might sue you for copyright infringement.

Splendid idea, you could instantly tell the helmsmans intentions. How about a small gps antenna on top and a discrete head-up nav display?

Trials

I'm doing trials with YM on radar reflectors on Monday. I'll make sure we take along an example of this model.

Jimi, I'm concerned that it appears to be levitating slightly and wonder if it will be self-rotating as well and how much power this will consume. Also can you tell me why the mounting plate appears to be curved? It is broken or is it supposed to act as an end-plate for aerodynamic purposes?

Re: Trials

Actually its not levitating, merely being modelled by our very own Kim Hollamby .. watch this post get pulled for dwarfism!
