personal liability/insurance racing events

Sorry, this is a yacht thing, but I am a motor boater. Someone may be able to point me in the right direction. Just set up a yacht club with motor/sail yachts. Issues are:
liability of club in organising races;
liability of participants to others;
what insurance is available?

ps I realise normal boat insurance does not cover damage and liability in racing events.

I would give the RYA a bell as they have people who are expert at this sort of thing.
