The May Issue of PBO will carry a major feature on PDAs on boats.

We already have a few Forum members contributing information and experience, but the more we have the more use we can be to potential users.
and to each other.

If you use an iPAQ, or any other PDA on a boat and would like to contribute to the project, please PM me.

Are you going to include SPVs? They're a very good no fuss way of keeping up with your emails if that's all you want to do. No leads, no dial ups, no mucking about. You can download webmail from them or use an outlook type robot. Of course, they don't do all the nav type stuff you might expect from a PDA.

Not for this one, but there is a 'to-the-boat' communications project in an advanced state of research ready to follow a couple of months later in response to all of us who have fallen into the serpents nest of cruising in France and Spain and wanting to keep track of bank accounts, weather, lock closures, relatives and so on.
