What has happened to the weather, high winds, foggy and rain. I came to the S Coast to get away from this stuff. I might as well be in Holyhead (waited there bound for Eire once for a week). SWBO has done a runner and is home sunbathing in Cheshire, not sure when she will be back. Too bad even to do a number of maintenance jobs. Dogs are bored, I am bored help!
Even more sorry for a french couple on a Wrighton? boat-they wanted to go to London but lots of easterlies, so they have come west and go the rain/fog/wind!
Had a look at an Aristocat catamaran. built like the proverbialbe outhouse and very well kitted out with a terrific wheelhouse that was featured in a PBO article some years ago. Just shows what peeps can do when they put their mind to it. Very take with the type as I have never seen one before. I think the Gemini was based on this, but that not perhaps so heavily built.

I was supposed to be 'leading' a club cruise down to the See Shanty Festival in Falmouth tomorrow - no way!

Still, we managed to be out from last Tuesday to this Monday in more or less continuous sunshine. We returned home to find our home electrics had been scrambled by a thunderstorm. The electrician is due any minute.

I wanted to go to that but am not ready / up to the cruise down yet. So, I was thinking about driving down for a look-see and to get the lie of the land for next year. Not a lot of point if the boats cannot make it cause of the weather.
