I have read this forum for some time with a great deal of respect for the information contained in it and with some amusement at the funny parts.

Being newly registered, please forgive me if I get any of this wrong.

My husband and I are thinking of buying a 2007 Pershing 56 for use in the Mediterranean. There seems to be quite a large number for sale, but more surprisingly a lot are priced at around one million Euros or more (French Argus price about 1.1 million), with an equal number available at around 650,000 euros. This is a huge difference, even allowing for varying condition, but they look very attractive at the lower prices. What do forumites think of this rather unusual boat? We will wish to change it in a couple of years so have to consider the resale aspect. We have already seen the posts discussing the limitations with the Arnos drives. So the questions are-
1) Does anybody know how these drives and the MAN engines behave at displacement speeds?
2) How difficult do you think a Pershing 56 will be to sell?

Your advice would be most appreciated. Oh, by the way, I am Italian.
