I need a new cork top cover gasket for my Perko intake water strainer. The marking on the top of the unit is F10 493.
The outside diameter of my pipes are 1 inch so nominal 3/4 inch (this identifies the unit's size).
Spares in UK are very expensive - over £20! but I can make locally (eg from Nitrile bonded cork gasket sheet).
Does anyone know what the thickness of the gasket should be? I'm having a hard time getting Perko to tell me.
