Perkins Prima M50

This is the third consecutive year that I find the drive (slotted) connection of the raw water pump to the projected connection at the camshaft to be worn out and in need of replacement. Is it a common fault or is there some other underlying reason for this. I have already checked that the mounting plate and bracket are properly aligned.
1.- Could anyone recommend a Perkins parts supplier ?
2,- Can I assume that the M50 uses the same parts as the Volvo MD22??
I know that the raw water pump is a Jabsco product.

I've never had this effect with mine so I suspect you have some remaining alignment problem. I have bought spares through diperk.co.uk who are quite efficient and moderately priced for common parts. The equivalent to the M50 is the MD22L and is much the same as it was made by Perkins. But I have seen a raw water pump connection with higher gearing on an MD22 so I guess some marinisation parts will vary. I guess VP prices will point you to Perkins parts!
