Perkins M30 difficult starting

Hi yesterday and this morning my Perkins didn't start instantly like usual, it fired up for a second then died. It did this about 3 or 4 times then started on one cylinder and the other two eventually kicked in. I changed the filters today and it's exactly the same, once started it runs like a swiss watch. So tomorrow I will change the glow plugs.
Anything obvious I am missing?
