Need about 40L.
2 x 20 L drums give me all I need plus a bit of spare.
Perkins suggest ap1 cd/se ccmc d4
Everything seems to be fully or semi synthetic now.
Do I search out and stick to my usual ordinary unmucked about with mineral Fleet oil.
Will this modern synthetic muck merely deplete my wallet and not much else ?

Millers oils are very helpful and will give a recommendation if you contact them.
We already had the answer unfortunately Millers is on the planet Zog when it comes to pricing, when compared with Rimula RT4 X in 20 liter buckets Millers Millfarm 15W40 XHPD is about 20% more expensive.

20% is a lot. I know there products from when I used to compete so more used to their more exotic stuff! Having said that I use their oils in my Fords in the boat, didn't seem too expensive compared to what else was available.

All done and dusted last week
Ps...it does help if , in your hurry to get this delightful job over with with, you take special care to check that you have removed the old O ring sealing the previous oil canistor.
Failure not to do so will ensure 15 litres of bright shiney new oil will be dumped into your bilge to the accompaniment of all sorts of interesting flashing lights and alarms going off.
Swearing and cursing will get not your bilges pristine again ,Fairy liquid will.........:)
Ps.Filled my diesel car with petrol last week.
Now waiting for event No 3. :(
