I am looking for a recon 4108. Does anyone know of a source for this?

Try Winchester Marine tel 01962 777077, they have a huge stock of new and used engines, much of it ex MOD.

Lancing Marine (01273 410025) appear to have a number of bits that are Perkins 4108 related;

PERKINS 4108 5 BOLT EXHAUST OUTLETS TO 2” EXH. 75.00
ONE PERKINS 4108 MANIFOLD 5 BOLT OUTLET FLANGE 250.00
ONE PERKINS 4108 CYL HEADS VALVES FITTED (LIST £660) 385.00

They might have more but these were on the September Bargins list.

OK I admit I was looking at re-engine costs for the bent SunFury!
