Perkins 4108 spares

Any of the forum know of anybody dismantling a Perkins 499, 4107 or 4108? Alternatively a dealer who breaks them.

My 4108 has a bent pushrod. The manual on servicing the head indicates " replace any bent pushrods" which suggests that it is a fairly commonplace event to be included in the service manual
 
Got the dates mixed up thought it was posted in October.

Ok, a few years ago the No 4 conrod on my engine came through the side of the block (wondered what the noise was! then it got much worse, still ran with 50 psi oil pressure)
replaced the motor and kept anything that looked ok from the blown motor.

Are the valves/rockers ok they don't usually bend for no reason.
check it out and let me know...
