Neil & Val are leaving the Perch on the 5th of November. The pub will then close for a month for a refurbishment after which the new Tenants will commence trading there.

I have no other information as this only became public knowledge today.

It would be good to go back to its former glory

I had an excellent meal this summer and was looking forward to going back. I hope the new tenant keeps the chef.

Fat chance, I hear they are putting carpet into the bar. DUH! Hikers, Boaters, Locals, Dogs all tramping their stuff across the floor.
Proven fact, they need business but have no outside smoking facilities ergo all the Smokers go elsewhere and even on a Friday/Saturday night, they can all be seen in Goring.
