I'm planning to do a survey on Perceived Quality of Professional Crews aboard 80+ feet yacths.
I'd like to interview, by phone or mail, around 20 to 40 captains of "superyacyhs".
If anyone is interested or available, please PM me.
Thanks,
Gianenrico

Can arrange a phone interview at theyr watering hole /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif (side effect of the job: a unabashed guide to the best/worse bars around the world) or if they have moved to some internet cafè, by chat.
Being less frivolous, I'm preparing a file with the questions and, may be, post a survey on one of the forums.
Cheers,
Gianenrico

if you fit an overlarge pushpit, you might qualify, or alternatively go around with your walkway in the fully opened position, then you could report to the forum on the type of questions and quality of the wine /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Captains invited to mark their own homework

Captains are responsible for hiring/firing rest of crew. So if you interview captains, they're gonna say it's all great innit. Otherwise, turkeys voting for christmas and all that. You need to interview experienced owners and charterers, surely? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Re: Captains invited to mark their own homework

i think the jobs vary so massively they are not the same thing from boat to boat. So, one of them is in charge of 20 people, other is 25% of the crew, other has six bosses, other is chief funster on a charter boat, another is hot hot gobmouth sailor racer and so on....
