Penta Throttle Cable reposition

Im in the middle of replacing my engine with a Volvo Penta MD11C. I am trying to figure out how to attach the throttle. Where the plate currently is fouls on the steering bar for the Volvo outdrive leg.



Can I rotate the plate so that the cable comes in under the exhaust elbow ?
