I thought it was an excellent bit of TV
Assuming the VHF was an actual real recording, I could not believe how calm everyone sounded.
Incredible bravery by lifeboat crew, great tragedu that could so easily have been avoided.

Yes agree with all the above i did watch some of it but thought it was basically a re-run of a previous programme.
the vhf comms were so matter of fact & professional.

Incredible bravery and amazing footage from the helicopter, it must have been sheer hell for everyone involved, even though I knew the ending I was wishing for the lifeboat to get away with the four rescued people on board, and then the silence of reality. My thoughts were if only!!

I watched it last night on C4 Iplayer, I've not seen it before, it was very emotional.

Moving on, for my sins I play countdown on the "Apterous" web site. After watching the Penlee tragedy I decided to have a game before retiring.
On the 3rd round of letters N E E P E L were revealed consecutively, spooky eh?
