pen for correcting imray charts

I always seem to make a mess of corrections & I was wondering if anyone can recommend a pen to use!

I use a black PILOT super colour marker (permanent type) ULTRA FINE which I find works well.

There are kits available (google "chart corrections" to find them) These contain pens and stencils for about £35. The pens are red and violet (not sure why...some forumites will soon let us know I hope!)

Thanks for that. I think I'll skip the kit & get the pen you recommend! I guess the violet one is for making lovely tear shaped light signals...

But you can't see red ink under a red light, can you?

I use a violet Pilot G-tec-C4

0.4 point . It lasts forever.

Well i'm not sure it's "waterproof" but Iv'e just rubbed a wet finger over some Pilot pen writing on an Imray chart and it didn't smudge. So it seems to do the job OK.

Just purhased a couple - on ordinary paper it smudges a bit but the original line remains
