Pelagic Autotiller

Hello, I’m Italian and owner of a wooden gaff cutter Colin Archer, 37ft long and 20tons displacement. I’m wondering if buying the Autopilot Pelagic for heavy boats or not. Any suggestions?

I have a 40 foot fin keel boat and the Pelagic actuator (I have a Raymarine Smartpilot controller as the brains of the operation) has coped in strong winds - it been quite comfortable in as much as 30 knots.

My boat is probably not as demanding of an autopilot as yours, but the Pelagic seems stronger than other autopilot drives I've been around.
