Hi , just got myself a Fairline 21 weekender 1981. And I’m trying to remove the pedestal bases , to get them stripped and re painted.
I’ve got underneath the deck and fitted the correct size socket on the large nut , but it just turns but doesn’t loosen. Is there a locking nut down the centre of the “ post” ? Or does anyone had experience with this . Many thanks Kevin
