I am a volunteer with Winterton Coastwatch and am trying to find a way to have RADAR and AIS running on a laptop or PC with the local chart also available. I know that an AIS engine is available for a PC but am having trouble finding RADAR that also will feed into the PC. If I can also have wind speed and direction and other weather data available then all the better. Anybody allready done this or point me in the right direction please?

Nige,

you can use a raymarine radar and instruments connected to the PC and run raytech software to show alll the data on the PC screen or you can use nobletec software and a nobletec USB radar, personally i use euronav seapro 3000 with the reccomended Furuno Radar scanner, works really well and i have a NASA AIS plugged in and raymarine instruments, it shows everything on the same screen
