Bit of a moan here.

I paid for a subscription to PBO at the Southampton boat.

I optimistically expected to receive an issue in October but nothing came through so I just gave them a call, and apparently I'm not due to get any issues until JANUARY 2012!!!:eek:

Something to do with missing a cut off date or something.

I wonder what other companies take your money and only provide a service 3 months later....

Moan over

Ah - is it,

you won't be getting any issues until Jan 2012

or

your first issue will be Jan 2012 - which iirc will be delivered in November ...

Apparently nothing will arrive until Jan 2012, had I'd known I would have sent a letter to Father Christmas and saved my money.

Thanks Lady Campanula I welcome any back issues, I have LOTS to learn :)

Thats wrong, I am away till Monday but what you have been told is nonsense.

If you can wait till then or email my colleague samantha_blakey@ipcmedia.com, she will look into it, otherwise I will on Monday, /Tuesday if you give me your details.

Cheers

I passed it on to Richard Shead ^^ up there.

One thing...

Why did you post this in the Yachting Monthly Forum, not the PBO Forum over there? >>>>>>

:D

:D

Because in the PBO forum he would just have been told how to print his own!

82 days later after signing up at the boat show and my first copy of PBO has come through at last :)

Michelle from subscriptions was very nice and kindly gave me two complimentary copies. Thank you.

I mentioned that the delay wouldn't have been such a problem if only someone had told me at the time, as afterall I missed out on a couple of months of good reading.

Anyhow, I look forward to reading my copy on Christmas day while the folks complain of the lack of good programs to watch on the telly :D

Thanks

Tim

That's still not good enough, however as we are published every four weeks and if you are unlucky enough just to miss the deadline for the next issue it can be 6 - 8 weeks.

It is noted and I have a large bag of rockets I am building for a visit to subs next week.....
