Has anyone built one of these? How easy was it? What does it sail like? Would an 87Kg adult fit in with a small child? Does it tow well?
Thanks in advance.

Yes, quite east to build, very stable for an adult to teach a child to sail. Rows well enough and a good load carrier.

The sailing performance is, depending on your experience, quite pedestrian. I recommend making longer foils for the dagger board and potentially the rudder. It will sail in light winds but you really need a good blow for an adult to have fun I would say. I would be tempted to bin the standard sail plan and fit a larger balanced Lug sail, just need to be careful to get the CoE correct if messing with the standard plans.

Tows well.

All in all a good little project and my kids and I have had fun in it.

In blue-peter style - here is one I did earlier.... http://georgeisted.blogspot.co.uk/2010_04_01_archive.html
