Now is the time of year when buying next years PBO Almanac comes to mind. I bought mine through a link on this forum last year and have again this year. It's cheaper than others advertised in the mags etc

www.dvd.co.uk

Go to search all products and scroll down to all books, Entering "pbo almanac 2008"

You'll have to open an account but at £14.72 and free 1st class postage it saves paying £15.99 and the £2.50 P&P I was quoted by a well known firm.

Being a Yorkshireman I like saving money!!!!!! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gifso I thought I'd share this with you all.

Being a Yorkshireman I am now in depression, having bought next year's almanac at a much higher price. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

For Yorkshireman read Scotsman but with deeper pockets. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

In the interests of consumer power I found a deal on Amazon £13.87 including delivery from their new and used section. Before you say anything it was a new one /forums/images/graemlins/ooo.gif

I saw that too but didn't you have to spend over £15 to get the free delivery?

Edit:- Oh, yes I see how you did it now- thanks

Ee lad, them crafty southerners have pulled t'wool over our een again. Think I'll go down't shed and give t'whippets a kicking, to cheer mesen oop like.

I usually buy the looseleaf Reeds Nautical Almanac which appears to be twice the price of the PBO small craft version

What do I miss out on if I get the PBO version - if anything ??
