Wouldn't touch a bank draft. Wouldn't accept 23k in cash either. It would have to be a bank transfer. I'd accept most on a transfer and the rest in cash, just so you could be sure that the boat was 100%. Failing that, look Sat, transfer Monday, collect when in my account.

I have used cash a few times now. The last time the seller refused to give me his bank details so I could transfer the £30,000. He said ''I don't give my bank details to anyone." Can't imagine what he thought I could do with them.

I wonder if he ever writes cheques?
