Ian Woosnam has walked off the course and quit the Linde German Masters, following a ball in water incident. I suppose we will only have Schumacher turn up on the grid for GPs next.

hm the issue about Paula Radcliffe was discussed at length, with widely differing views but the most interesting aspect of this is , oh, what the heck, i can't be bothered finishing this post...

An atopical post for a sailing forum I agree and should really have been prefaced with the (NB) tag, but when I saw this headline flash across my screen I was genuinely disappointed. Having followed the US/UK attitudes post, concerning Ms Radcliffe's withdrawal from the Olympic marathon, I was firmly of the opinion that she was completely drained and incapable of continuing the event, and maybe my association of the events in Greece, with Mr. Woosnam's actions of today, was wrong. However, if this trend continues it will be extremely damaging for sport and degrading to the outcome of sporting events for all concerned, winners, fellow competitors and the mugs that pay to watch.

The post was nothing more than a self indulgent expression of disappointment and never really intended as a topic for debate or discussion.

They've probably all seen sense, thought sod this for a bunch of sodjers and are all off to the SBS to buy a boat to sort out the zest in their life!

There is, of course, a spooky similarity here.

As far as I've been able to distantly deduce, a certain company bearing whose name could be compared with a cake making sugar, set out on an arduous task of repair requiring concentration, dedication and professionalism ................ then thought ... ah stuff it!

If we look closely I reckon there's an epidemic of this around

You couldn't be bothered in the last thread either. As far as I am concerned they (Paula and Ian) are a couple of sad Loooosers. Should be banned from their sports for at least a year. Loooosers!!
