Had a rough time at sea over the last couple of days and this has caused one of my patio doors to drop slightly. I've had a look but without removing the door (too cold at the moment) I can't see anything missing. Does anyone have any ideas? It is a Jeanneau Merry Fisher 925.

It still locks okay but there is a small gap at the top right hand corner now.

Photo would help to confirm but all the ones I have seen have an adjustable roller wheel on the bottom track.

The track could have collapsed or the roller could have been forced up.

You could be in danger of the door falling out now.

from the inner edge of the door remove the plug / bung 5p to 10p size.
using a long philips screw driver undo the screw and the door will drop further.

(there is a bung both sides, you may need to remove the top of the door step, slide the door passed open so you can now get to the other inner edge)

lift the door up and it will now clear the bottom cil so you can pull it out bottom first.

Check the track for damage.

check the bottom wheel for damage.

refit top first , in at the bott0m and tighten the screw (it will be harder to turn as you lift the whole door.)

if you get it too tight the door will be still to open as it catches the top.

I agree with Daka. Bottom roller. As Daka says, there is a bung in each edge 6inches above floor level and using a screwdiver you can jack the rollers up or down. Usually, at least

If you are looking for an easy fix and have luck on your side.....

When you say 'rough' I took it as large holes and serious compressions.

If you mean constant short sharp hammer jack @ excessive speed then the screw may have just loosened a little on each impact.

If you are lucky there is no need to remove the door, just tighten the screw to lift the door back into position.
My corniche used to do it every 1000 miles or so and I also repaired a friends Princess 440 without taking the door out (it was about to fall out completely).

Thanks guys,

Seems like an easy fix hopefully.

Good luck because it certainly wasn't an easy fix on my Ferretti. I had to remove some of the door frame cover plates to get at the rollers and frankly, it was a nightmare

Suspect he might have fixed it by now.

Excellent product placement, though. If it's still not right, he'll prob'ly be nipping over tomorrow to get it fixed...
