For those who haven't heard already, Mike Gates - long time manager of MDL Marinas at Bray Windsor and Penton Hook - will be retiring next month and I'm sure all here will join me in wishing him a long, happy and healthy retirement.

Rumour has it (well, he has told me!) that he is applying to be a Volunteer Lock-Keeper so you may well find him offering to take a line as you pass through one or other of the locks in the Windsor area.

Good luck, Mike, and I hope you and Helen find lots to do with your new found freedom.
