Passage Norway to Solent

I am hoping to bring a motor cruiser from Norway to the Solent in June of this year and would like to chat to anyone who has done this crossing and who has any advise or tips that might be useful.

Haven't done Norway to Solent, but have done Norway to Shetland many years ago...
Have also done Norway - Denmark - Germany (two different routes... one throught Limfjorden in Denmark, through to Kiel and used the Kanal to Cuxhaven. And another along the West Coast of Denmark).

Where in Norway are you based ? (Should determine the best route).
