passage and pilot notes on websites

Is anyone aware of any websites that make available pilot or passage notes. I am not so tight that I wont buy them but I thjink they could make interesting reading - honest!

I think this would be a great idea - published pilots are often out date. Some Local councils publish them to encourage visitors - have a look at

A database of ports would be v. useful.

It may be a great idea, but sadly our mickey mouse legal system makes it ever less likely. There was a recent meeting at the Conference of Yacht Cruising clubs (the organisation for yacht clubs producing pilot books) to discuss just this issue, and the legal advice they received could be paraphrased as saying "dont"

Be cautious though - the biggest difficulty in publishing any sort of local pilot is getting people to keep it up to date.
