Chinese, recent to the OB market, no track record - would not touch them at any price - well a 4hp for £40~~50 might tempt me to try one....

parsun outboards: the only manufacturer to test component parts before fitting to EVERY engine - cylinder head tested before fitting, gearbox tested before fitting. EVERY engine, once assembled is test run for 1 hr before packaging for sale. no other manufacturer does this. they have not been on the scene for long - granted, however, they are going about everything the right way to make sure that they are on the scene for many years to come, good build quality sells itself.... however, i do take your point about the 2.6hp @ £369 - we'll maybe do something about that...
