Not the chaps who put their collars on backwards.

The engines of that name.

Does anyone know anything about Parsons diesel engines. I thought they only made steam turbines, but apparently not.

I would appreciate any comments, facts, opinions or "what my mate says"

Parsons 'Barracuda' were I think ford based diesels, they were used in some of the Fairey Huntsman, earlier ones, I think about 95 hp in early sixties, some are still about, some have been uprated to about 125 hp.

Thats all I know. (not just about Parsons).
