After two days of grinding and polishing every small scratch and blemish from our windshields, decided to fit new stainless steel pantograph arms and blades, as the existing black coated ones are looking a touch shabby, + we like a bit of bling :)
boat is a Fairline Squadron 52, arms are 28inch long/ 700 mm ,but cannot find anyone that can supply them, any help in sourcing replacements would be appreciated , been to our local commercial vehicle factors , unfortunately the one they sold me was not stainless , yes I could respray them ,but prefer to replace for new if possible.

Thanks for any help in locating

AFAIK Hepworth is Fairline's oem supply of the motor drive unit but the actual arms are made by an Italian company whose name I know but have completely forgotten for a minute. I have in stock (currently in France) a pair of s/s bright polished arms and motor units from fairline for Squadron 78 and would sell at 60% of best new price (I've no idea how much that actually is! and I'm happy to sell just the arms and keep the motors). They're only a year old, BNIB. I'd have to check dims this weekend if you're interested. If you are, interested then could you give me your dims, I mean what exact dimension is your 700mm and how long are your wiper blades and what type of fitting do you have (blade to arm)?

One of these maybe?

- Italtergi in Lodi
- OSLV Italia in Roseto degli Abruzzi
- Speich in Genova

I was also looking for a replacement, but I didn't have the exact distance between both pantograph shafts and the DIN taper size. I will measure this on coming week-end, and try one of these 3 companies.

Thanks all for the replies, will have a look what make of motors we have to try and identify arms

the steel arms we purchased were for a lorry or bus, but they do not like salt water and rust in no time , leaving a nice stain mark

Thanks for the offer, unfortunately my old tub has three arms, if you find another would be very interested,

have not got all dimensions' as left existing arm,s and blades on boat, and as we were on my motorbike swmbo refused to carry one all the way home :)

nothing simple about boats

Good list, but nope, it is none of those! I just cant remember it. It's there in big letters on a box in my French storage and I see it most weeks...!

Ah yes. My boat is a two-er so I only have the 2 arms in my "spares" box (room actually!), alas. FWIW here is close up of mine, starboard then port...
