If anyone is interested www.randmcnally.com are selling their streetfinder gps for $99, reduced from $199.

I got one, (£16 duty) it works fine with gpspilot.com compass ($20), Im looking at Tracker too.

Yep, I got an Aquapak too.

Anybody play with tidetools for the palm??

yep-

i've got the tide tool thingy. it's ok for planning trips from the office, but i never take the palm v away with me as the business info on it is too valuable to drop overboard/get sand in/stand on/generally bugger up during leisure!

BTW i'm using v1.2 beta1 from www.toolworks.com/bilofsky/tidetool.htm

Thanks for the info about the GPS's.

I use Tidetool V2.0 but I have the old UK database that is now no longer available. Its not bad and is accurate to within an hour or so. You still need to look in the almanac for accurate times.
