This probably won't apply to the vast majority of you, but I thought I'd share our experience with the PP.
We've been moored up here for the last couple of weeks whilst we wait for the seemingly never ending saga of our watermaker to end before we can finally head south. Today the PP popped round and told us we've been here too long and need to shift. They say they don't want people settling down for the summer, it's only a free stop for a up to a few days. The mooring space for yachts is pretty small, so I can see where they're coming from.
The German chap in the boat behind us looks rather peeved. He'd laid his own mooring (which dragged, thus causing the problem I mentioned in a previous thread) and was clearly planning to keep his boat here full time. As far as I can tell, they've given him the ol' heave ho, too.
They also weren't happy that we'd left the boat for a couple of days whilst we visited family. They want you to stay on your boat whilst it's in the harbour.
They were perfectly friendly and reasonable over the whole thing, so no fuss.
