I have some lovely new Jotun Pilot 2 for my topsides, as yet unopened. The main lid has a smaller central lid of thin plastic, what is this for?
I have been told it contains an extending plastic tube, for decanting the paint. (Like some car oil containers do.)
If that's correct, I will obviously have to remove the main lid, stir the paint with a drill stirrer, replace the main lid, then pull out the nozzle to decant the paint into my kettle.
Is that right?
(These Jotun tins have an excellent replaceable rubber retaining ring for the main lid, a very good design.)
