Painting powder-coat?

Is there a paint that will stick to something that has been powder-coated, without abrading the surface?

I want to write the boat name on my electric outboard, and nothing seems to stick

Is there a paint that will stick to something that has been powder-coated, without abrading the surface?

I found a combination that works. First fill the stencil with Pentel marker pen; this leaves an indelible mark in the powder-coat, but is not robust. When dry, follow up with Polymarine Letterflex PVC paint.
