Can anyone offer any advice on the use of the paint conditioner "Owatrol" I'm hoping to paint the topsides of my boat with International Brightside one pack polyurethane this weekend.

Only used it as aconditioner with varnish -- had excellent results.
Also as a rust inihibitor on keels -- O.k.

I swear by this stuff. I use about ten per cent mix with paint. It makes painting with pads really easy and the finish is brilliant.

I've also used it for cleaning up an old Aluminium mast & boom on a Vivacity 20 - made an excellent job and looked much better afterwards.

Used with some paints it will reduce the usual "drag" you get from a brush. Add 10% or as required and use a soft, clean, well loved, brush, do not ponder on the paint after you have laid it on, other than to ensure that it won`t run, and move on!

Perfect results every time (just like a real coach painter :o))) ) Oh! Usual things to remember like keep out of the wind and dust, Flys, do not touch them until the paint is dry and then remove them (les damage that way)

Hope this helps! Best of luck
Rob
