Help please.
The paint on (off) the mounting brackets of my old Honda o/b is in a bad way and needs repainting. I seem to remember years ago doing something similar on a motorbike using a Self etching preimer followed by two pack. Excellent and long lasting.
However is there anything simpler that works, given the small area of paint required? It is not immersed just splashed regularly.
Also any reccomendations as to brands of readily available paint for this job.
Regards
Jim J

I dont have a very high opinion of the stuff but the smooth type of Hammaerite over their "Special Metals Primer" is what I would ( do :( ) use.

There is some stuff called Garage Door Paint (B&Q and places) which is much better than Hammerite (which is a pale imitation of it's former self)
