The headlining in the cabins of my mid 80's Beneteau First 345 have a few years of life left in them but are looking tired. Has anyone painted their headlining which has subsequently proven to be a good move, and if so, with what ie type of paint ?. Many thanks ....

No, I have not, but there are water-based inflatable paints that are made for vinyl. I used one on an inflatable and it held up well in the sun (MDR Amazon). I'd have to think it would be fine in the cabin. Also paints for buoys an life rings. Honestly, house paint will probably do very well on a hedliner if you clean the surface well and use a fine roller. I've used it on Lifesling covers with good results (5 years in the sun).
