Paint ideas/recommendations

My Dehler 22 has a nice blue boot line, but the blue 'eyeshadow' round the windows each side has faded. Its only a small area and if possible I don't want to go the whole hog with 2 pack a) for cost b) its not a big area so a lot would be wasted.

Is there an easily applied enamel that will do it nicely. Its years since I have boat painted, so I'm playing catch up here.

The main marine paint people do 'enamels' that would be ideal for what you want. It's probably more a question of which range has the colour you want, rather than one supplier vs another.

I recently got recomender Owatrol oil by classic boat forum and am raving about it, you add 10% to any standard enamel and it goes on like a dream.

Owatrols a new one on me for sure, but it sounds very good if it helps get a decent finish on the first bit of boat everyone will see...

I'l have to find some paint cards and do a bit of matching up..I've tried guessing in the past...doesn't work does it...
