Paint for Taylors stove

Anybody recommend a diy paint finish for the cast iron top on a Taylors?
I have tarted mine up with a variety of engine & exhaust paints, after wire brushing the old finish, with mixed results - exhaust paint usually lasts the season. I've now had it shot blasted & was wondering if these paints they sell for multi-fuel stoves might last longer. Unfortunately, nobody does stove enamel locally.

Some narrow boats use Anthracite Stove Paint . Its black and comes in an aerosol.
You can get it from Ely Boat Chandlers on 01353 663095.
I used grate blacking when I used to have a stove.
