a post on the forum sometime last year recommended Polymarine Liquid Letters for stencilling the boat's name on a Hypalon inflatable. I have just tried to order some by mail order but am informed that it is "discontinued". Does anyone know if or where it can still be obtained or have a suggestion for an alternative?

thanks

Note that they do different paints for Hypalon and PVC. Both excellent. Use it on mooring buoy, life-rings, etc. It is essential to use the correct one.

Just use a permanent marker in the colour of your choice! Much cheaper than 'special' paint and lasts just as long. I've tried both and we stick with the former now.

thanks for helpful replies - liquid letters for Hypalon does still seem to be available direct from Polymarine - must just have been the online chandlery that had "discontinued" it

I have 2 small tins of 'hypalon' paint - one black & one white with barely a teaspoonful taken from each. Available to you - or anyone else - FOC - just put a couple of quid in an RNLI tin.

PM me with your name & address if you are interested.
