Paint for engine belt pulley wheels

The paint on several of the belt pulley wheels is flaking off and the wheels rusting. The rough surface is bound to be adding to wear of the belts, not to mention the general unacceptableness of rusty stuff.

What kind of paint should I use? A generic description would be useful as I live in Switzerland and the boat is in Germany and my technical German (at least, this kind of technical) is not up to much. The engine is a Yanmar 3GM30F, in case it makes any difference.

I wire-brushed and sanded the loose rust and paint off my rusty pulley wheels, painted with an antirust solution (Kurust I think) and then used Yanmar's branded spray paint, masking up the drive surfaces first. A bit expensive I suppose but it matches exactly (metallic grey) and is still absolutely sound 2 seasons later.
