Chose a bowrider Maxum 17.5 foot with 3L mercruiser. The difference between this and what i had is light and day, the extra 2 foot makes it look huge compared to my old 15' skimmer!!
The engine fired up a treat and i have had some big engined cars, but this sounded so smooth it was unreal, maybe they all run like that? Also the sound compared to my very old 55hp Johnson was light and day

To me this is a proper cruiser, lap of luxury im thinking and cant wait to try her out, comes with a built in depth finder too which is handy, he also threw in life jackets, ring, flairs, 2 engine stop thingies, anchor, security rope in a bag and various other life saving odds and sods. Also has navigation lights not that i will use them.
Its a 1997 on a 2004 braked trailor, reciepts for a full service in 2009 and has not been used this year. was up for 6k, got it for 5k which i think is reasonable.
