Our paddleboard sits perfectly on top of the davits with a couple of bungees on. Looks like a rear spoiler...

Doesn’t restrict vis , or interfere with tight Med stern too .
When anchored its chucked in anyhow to free up the ladder anyhow .

Is there special straps for such things.

Hi , that’s my boat & yes the brackets keep the decks clear so don’t restrict walking around, they clamp on to the upright supports of the hand rails with a bungee cord over the top to help hold the paddle board in place but been in choppy sea’s & never been a problem , we have fitted them on the curve of the bow so no problem mooring along side another boat or high wall .
Force4 have them very similar for only around £150

Well, you can’t exactly strap the board to the guard rails on your Itama, after all.

So that’s a pretty inventive solution.
