Hello,
After hours of struggle I managed to push a cutlass bearing out of p-bracket. It was funny DIY arrangement and I had to drill out all three (!) set screws. I was going to tap the hole and reinstall a new brass/bronze screw but, to my surprise, nobody seem to stock them. Please advice if you know of a place that sells brass/bronze grub screws (I'm looking for sizes around M5x5).
Also, I've done a bit of digging through the forum's archives. The suggestions for similar problem are to use SS ones which are easily available but I'm a bit concerned about galvanic corrosion. Does anybody have experience in using SS screws to lock cutlass in bronze p-bracket? Some also suggested using nylon screws.
All suggestions and advice would be much appreciated.
